CALL FOR ABSTRACTS (PRESENTATION OUTLINES) FOR THE 2013 CS4L NATIONAL SUMMIT

Victoria, BC – Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) is pleased to announce the call for abstract submissions (presentation outlines) for the 2013 CS4L National Summit, held January 30-31 in Gatineau, Quebec.

The CS4L National Summit brings together innovative leaders working together to enhance the quality of sport and physical activity across Canada.

Submissions should focus on CS4L – LTAD programs, development and implementation in the following areas:

  • Talent & Excellence
  • Physical Literacy
  • Quality LTAD-Based Sport Programs
  • Education
  • Governance & CS4L – LTAD
  • Innovative Thought
  • Evidence & Research
  • Health

Canadian Sport for Life

Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) is a national movement to improve the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada. CS4L links sport, education, recreation and health while aligning community, provincial and national sport programming.

Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) is a seven-stage training, competition and recovery pathway guiding an individual’s experience in sport and physical activity from infancy through all phases of adulthood.

CS4L, with LTAD, represents a paradigm shift in the way Canadians lead, deliver, and experience sport and physical activity in Canada.
