This presentation looks at ways in which the key elements of physical literacy: coordination, agility and balance can be developed. It also looks at effective methods that do not require anything more than basic equipment and that can be included in the warm‐up and game activities of many sports.

 

Planning and Periodization for the Jr. Athlete (Istvan Balyi)

The presentation uses developmental age versus chronological age to show how to design an annual plan for a pubertal athlete.
