Keeping Teens in Sport: What do we know and what should we do?

This presentation will focus on why kids stay in and drop out of sport. Much of the work presented will be drawn from my doctoral dissertation that highlighted a link between early specialization and dropout in adolescent competitive swimmers. Implications will be discussed.
